About this material
Our clear cast acrylic is poured between glass plates from 100% virgin MMA monomer (Lucite or Mitsubishi grade), then cured slowly in water baths. The result is a sheet with low internal stress, crisp laser-cut edges that flame-polish cleanly, and 93% light transmission at 3 mm.
Cast sheet machines without melting back onto the cutter, bonds without crazing and keeps its clarity outdoors. It is the material sign makers specify for illuminated channel letters, light-box faces, museum displays and high-end retail fixtures.

Cast. It vaporises cleanly and leaves a polished edge, while extruded sheet melts back and leaves a frosted, stressed edge.
